ONCE AGAIN, WE WILL BE RAFFLING OFF A FLAT SCREEN LED TV! WE WILL ALSO BE RAFFLING OFF A $250 PREPAID VISA GIFT CARD! TICKETS FOR THE SPECIAL RAFFLES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE NOW!

MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE MONUMENT IN FRONT OF THE CENTER ON SUNDAY, MAY 26TH at 11:00 a.m. 

4th WARD BLOCK WATCH MEETING: Wednesday, May 8th at 5:00 p.m.

 SENIOR CITIZEN/INTERGENERATIONAL DAY LUNCHEON Join us on Thursday, May 9th at Noon in the gym. Our Special Guest for the event will be the The Girard Robotics Team and their award winning robot. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Limited Seating is Available. Please Sign Up at the front desk or call the center by May 3rd. Lunch will be provided by the center. Southern Care Hospice will be sponsoring an ice cream sundae bar. Coloring Contest winners will also be announced!

 AMERIPRISE SEMINAR: Monday, May 13th at 9:30 a.m. Tom Shortreed CPA of Ameriprise will be joining us to speak about Values and Goal Setting: Being a Goal Achiever.

 MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! Tuesday, May 14th at 9:15 a.m. in the coffee bar! Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday in that particular month. The Center will provide a special treat. Feel free to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate with us!

 ACCUDOSE PHARMACY SEMINAR: Wednesday, May 15th at 9:15. Ashley Wagner from Accudose Pharmacy will be coming to talk about the services and options for ordering prescriptions.

 BINGO WITH WINDSOR HOUSE: Tuesday, May 21st at 9:15 a.m. in the coffee bar. Join us for some bingo fun with Deanna from Windsor House!

MEMORIAL DAY POTLUCK BREAKFAST: Friday, May 24th at 9:00 a.m. in the coffee bar. Bring your favorite dish to share and come help us honor and remember all who have served and continue to serve in our armed forces.

 MOVIES IN THE PARLOR: Every Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the parlor. Come enjoy and relax with a movie and have some popcorn together with the staff. See Jen with any movie suggestions.

COFFEE BAR: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

 FITNESS ROOM HOURS: Monday & Friday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

MIND GAMES: Daily at 9:00 a.m. join in the fun and exercise your brain at the same time.

Tai Chi: Cost $5.00: Fridays from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

 YOGA / PILATES: Call Roselyn Ragozine for more information and to check class times and days, (330) 719-4296.

STRETCH EXERCISES: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. A light snack is provided. Stretching will be at 10:00 on Monday, May 13th and Friday May 24th.

The Wii GAMING SYSTEM and AIR HOCKEY OR PING PONG are set up in the parlor for members to use. The gaming hours are during the Center’s hours of operation. Please ask the staff for assistance.

KNIT and CROCHET CLASS: Mondays at 10:15 a.m. Bring your own yarn, needles, etc. Class is free and open to our members.

 COMPUTER CAFE: Mondays and Fridays: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. & Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 ONE ON ONE COMPUTER TUTORING: Please contact Jen or Christine at 330-545-6596 to make an appointment.

 MEDICARE: Contact our social worker, Christine at 330-545-6596 to make an appointment.

HEAP PROGRAM: See Jen or Christine for information regarding qualifications for HEAP.

 NUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday– Friday at 2:30 p.m.  You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. While there is no fee for meals, client donations are accepted toward the cost of meals.  The contributions are an important part of the funding for the program. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center. NO MEALS MAY 7th or MAY 27th.
