 WALKING THE BLOCK IS BACK! Join us for some fresh air and sunshine as we walk outside (weather permitting). Tuesdays, at 10:00a.m. or immediately following the conclusion of already scheduled programs.

 BINGO WITH HARBOR LIGHT HOSPICE: Tuesday May 2nd at 9:15 in the coffee bar. Diane will be here with us come and join to have some bingo fun.

 MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! Tuesday, May 9th at 9:15 a.m. in the coffee bar! Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday in that particular month. The Center will provide a special treat. Feel free to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate with us!

  4th WARD BLOCK WATCH MEETING: Wednesday, May 10th at 5:00 p.m. Bring a friend/neighbor.

 SENIOR CITIZEN/INTERGENERATIONAL DAY LUNCHEON Join us on Thursday May 11th at Noon in the gym. Our Special Guest for the event will be the 2016 World Championship Divisional Finalists and the 2016 Buckeye Regional’s Finalist winner, The Girard Robotics Team and their award winning robot.  Also Our Nurse Andrea from St. Elizabeths Hospital will be doing blood pressures. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Limited Seating is Available. Please Sign Up at the front desk or call the center by May 4th. Lunch will be provided, Southern Care Hosipice will be sponsoring an Ice cream sundae bar. Coloring Contest winners will also be announced!

 MEMORIAL DAY POTLUCK BREAKFAST: Wednesday May 24th at 9:00 a.m. in the coffee bar. Bring your favorite dish to share and come help us honor and remember all who have served and continue to serve in our armed forces.

 SENIOR HEALTH AND FITNESS DAY: Wednesday, May 31st  at 9:00 a.m. in the coffee bar. Join us for a healthy treat and take home some recipes for eating and snacking in a healthy way.  Then join us after for stretching class! In the Coffee bar. Do not forget the Center also has our daily mind games, two fitness rooms, morning stretch classes, health screenings, Tai chi, and Yoga and Pilates classes to help enhance health and fitness.

 MOVIES IN THE PARLOR: Every Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the parlor. Come enjoy and relax with a movie and have some popcorn together with the staff.  FITNESS ROOM HOURS: Monday & Friday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

MIND GAMES: Daily at 9:00 a.m. Join in the fun and exercise your brain at the same time.

Tai Chi: Cost $5.00: Fridays from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

MORNING STRETCH EXERCISES: Held in the parlor on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. STRETCHING WILL BE AT 10:00 ON WEDNESDAY MAY 24th.

 The Wii GAMING SYSTEM and AIR HOCKEY OR PING PONG are set up in the parlor for members to use. The gaming hours are during the Center’s hours of operation. Please ask the staff for assistance.

Adult Basketball or Corn Hole:  Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the gym. Minimum of 2 players and must be members of the center.

Walk The Steps OR IN THE GYM: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Minimum of two (2) walkers. Sign in at the front desk.

KNIT and CROCHET CLASS: Mondays from 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bring your own yarn, needles, etc. Class is free and open to our members.

 COMPUTER CAFE: Mondays and Fridays:  8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. & Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays:  8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 ONE ON ONE COMPUTER TUTORING: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with Jen, or Christine. Other times are available by appointment

 MEDICARE: Contact our social worker, Christine at 330-545-6596 to make an appointment.

 HEAP PROGRAM: See Jen, Jackie, or Christine for information regarding qualifications for the       HEAP/Winter Crisis Program.

 OHIO BENEFIT BANK ASSISTANCE: Call the Center to set up an appointment with Jen for assistance.

NUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday– Friday at 2:30 p.m.  You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. Suggested donation is $2.00/meal for seniors 60+ and/or their spouses. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center. NO MEALS MONDAY MAY 29th.
