Our Special Guest for the event will be the 2015 World Championship Divisional Finalists and the 2016 Buckeye Regional’s Finalist winner, The Girard Robotics Team and their award winning robot. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Limited Seating is Available. Please Sign Up at the front desk or call the center by April 30th. Lunch will be provided. Coloring Contest winners will also be announced!

 bus_tripPLAY AND LUNCH TRIP: Friday, May 6th, we will leave from the center at 9:15 a.m. to see “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” Play at the Deyor Performing Arts Center in Youngstown. Following the play, we will go to Buddy’s Café in Youngstown for lunch. You are responsible for the cost of your play ticket and meal. See Jackie for more information.

TRUMBULL COUNTY HEALTHTRUMBULL COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT NURSES: Monday, May 9th from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the Parlor. They will offer blood pressure checks, glucose screenings, and certain adult vaccines.

COOKIE COOKIE DECORATING WITH WINDSOR HOUSE: Tuesday, May 10th at 9:15a.m. in the Coffee Bar. Deanna from Windsor House will be decorating some springtime cookies with us.

DIABETES EMPOWERMENT EDUCATION PROGRAM (DEEP): This program is developed by the Health Service Advisory Group.  The course is directed to empower persons with diabetes, and their relatives to take an active role in controlling their disease. This is a 6 week, Approx. 2 hour class and will be held right here at the center. THERE IS NO COST! Please sign up at the front desk if interested. We will meet once a week. Classes will be held Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. in the Parlor. They will begin on Tuesday, May 10th and go until Tuesday, June 14th. Call the center for more information (330)545-6596.

Do not forget the Center also has our daily mind games, two fitness rooms, morning stretch classes, health screenings, Tai chi, and Yoga and Pilates classes to help enhance health and fitness.

Wii gamesTHE Wii GAMING SYSTEM and AIR HOCKEY OR PING PONG are set up in the parlor for members to use. The gaming hours are during the Center’s hours of operation. Please ask the staff for assistance.

BASKETBALL-SMALLADULT BASKETBALL or CORN HOLE:  Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the gym. Minimum of 2 players and must be members of the center.

SENIOR MEAL -SMALLNUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday– Friday at 2:30 p.m.  You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. Suggested donation is $2.00/meal for seniors 60+ and/or their spouses. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center. ***NO MEALS ON MONDAY, MAY 30TH.
