BREAST CANCER RAFFLE BASKET: The Center will be giving away a basket to honor breast cancer awareness. TICKETS ARE FREE! And are located by the front office.  MAKE SURE YOU FILL YOUR NAME OUT ON ONE TICKET EACH DAY THAT YOU ARE HERE! The winner will be chosen on October 30th at our Halloween Potluck luncheon. The more you attend the center and our events the more chances you have to be a winner!

HOW’S YOUR MEDICARE? OSHIIP will be here on Tuesday, October, 6th at 9:30 a.m. for an informational update on Medicare Advantage and Part D Prescription Plans. Please attend to learn about changes for 2016. Open enrollment begins October 15th. We will begin to take appointments for benefit check-ups. Please sign up at the front desk.   MEDICARE ENROLLMENT- Tuesday, October, 15th begins the Medicare Open Enrollment Period. Appointments are required for Enrollment, so please see or contact Christine at the Center (330) 545-6596. Information required for your appointment: income information, list of medications, list of physicians, Social Security card, Medicare card and secondary hospitalization coverage card if applicable.

*****NEW PROGRAM: ZUMBA WITH TINA SAMS: Begins Wednesday October 7th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Gym. Classes will be held on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in the gym, all are welcomed to attend. Cost for the class is $5.00. Class is Free for anyone 60 and older that is a member of the center. We look forward to seeing you there.

2nd ANNUAL APPLE COOK OFF! Thursday, October 8th at 9:00 a.m. in the coffee bar. Participate by making your favorite apple dish and entering it into our tasting contest or just feel free to come have some fall fun with us here at the center. MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR OCTOBER: Will be held on Wednesday, October 14th at 9:00 a.m. in the Coffee Bar! Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday in that particular month. The Center will provide a special treat. Feel free to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate with us!

The Wii GAMING SYSTEM and AIR HOCKEY OR PING PONG are set up in the parlor for members to use. The gaming hours are during the Center’s hours of operation, Please feel free to ask the staff for assistance.

ADULT BASKETBALL OR CORN HOLE: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the gym. Minimum of 2 players and must be members of the center.

/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday through Friday at 2:30 p.m. You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. Suggested donation: $2.00/meal. For Seniors 60+ and/or their spouses. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center.  NO MEAL PROGRAM MONDAY, OCTOBER 12th – COLUMBUS DAY.
