AUTUMN POTLUCK BREAKFAST: Come say goodbye to summer with use as we welcome the fall season Friday, September 5th at 9:00 a.m. in the coffee bar.
POPCORN FESTIVAL POTLUCK LUNCHEON: Tuesday, September 16th from noon to 2:00 p.m. Bring a dish to share and come enjoy some popping fall fun with us. There will be a popcorn bar with all your snack favorites provided by Shepherd of the Valley as well as some popcorn trivia and bingo complete with all popcorn themed prizes to win!
GROCERY BINGO with Windsor House: Tuesday, September 9TH at 9:00 a.m. Deanna from Windsor House will be joining us for some grocery bingo fun.
AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE SEMINAR: Wednesday, September 10th at 9:00 a.m. Beth from Gateway health will be joining us in the coffee bar to provide information on the Obama Health Care Plan.
SEPTEMBER 11th at 8:45 a.m.: We will have A MOMENT OF SILENCE to remember those who were affected by the SEPTEMBER 11TH 2001 TRAGEDIES. It has been 13 years and this month we would like to make sure those HEROES ARE REMEMBERED IN OUR HEARTS.

TRIVIA SEMINAR with Park Vista: This week is Active Aging Week and along with Park Vista we would like to celebrate with some fun. On Wednesday, September 24th at 9:00 a.m. in the Coffee Bar, Beth Ann Turpek from Park Vista will be joining us with a fun Aging Trivia game.

MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: Our September Celebration will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd at 9:00 a.m. in the Coffee Bar! Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday in that particular month. The Center will provide a special treat. Feel free to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate with us!

MORNING STRETCH EXERCISES: will be held in the parlor on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. Come stretch out those sore muscles with our interns and staff and learn some great new stretch exercises to help keep you moving. No sign up required just show up at the time of class.
TONE UP WITH TUNES: Tuesdays and Fridays 10:00-10:30 a.m. in the Parlor. Please join us in Exercising with Music. Enjoy musical tunes in all music styles for some fun and exciting new ways to exercise.
The Wii GAMING SYSTEM and AIR HOCKEY OR PING PONG are set up in the parlor for members to use. The gaming hours are during the Center’s hours of operation, Please feel free to ask the staff for assistance
ADULT BASKETBALL OR CORN HOLE: Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 2:00 pm in the gym. Minimum of 2 players and must be members of the center.
WALK THE STEPS OR IN THE GYM: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 pm. Minimum of two (2) walkers. Sign in at the front desk.
KNIT AND CROCHET CLASS: Mondays, 10:15 to Noon. Bring your own yarn, needles, etc. Class is free and open to our members.
COMPUTER CAFE: Mondays: 8:30-4:00, Tuesdays: 8:30-5:00, Wednesdays: 8:30-5:00, Thursdays: 8:30-5:00, and Fridays: 8:30-4:00.
ONE ON ONE COMPUTER TUTORING: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30-11:30 with Jen, Christine or Jackie. Other times are available by appointment.
NUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull Cty. Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday– Friday at 2:30 p.m. You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. Suggested donation: $1.50/meal.
