BREAST CANCER AWARENESS BASKET RAFFLE: Please make sure that you enter the drawing to win the basket. The Winner will be announced at the Halloween Potluck luncheon. HALLOWEEN POTLUCK LUNCHEON PARTY: Friday, October 31st from 12:00-2:00 p.m. in the Gym. Costumes are optional or you can just wear your favorite holiday gear. Bring your favorite dish to share and join in some spooky fun with us.

ONE ON ONE COMPUTER TUTORING: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays:  From 10:30-11:30 a.m. with Jen, Christine or Jackie. Other times are available by appointment.

MEDICARE ENROLLMENT- Medicare Open Enrollment began October 15th.  Appointments are required for Enrollment, so please see or contact Christine at the Center (330) 545-6596. Information required for your appointment: income information, list of medications, list of physicians, Social Security card, Medicare card and secondary hospitalization coverage card if applicable.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR MEDS SEMINAR with Gateway Health:  Wednesday, November 5th at 9:00 a.m. in the Coffee Bar. Beth from Gateway Health will be here to provide us with informational material on knowing and understanding information regarding our health and Medications.

CHAIR MASSAGES: Monday, November 10th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. provided by Ohio Pain Management. Sign-ups are required.

VETERANS DAY BREAKFAST: Tuesday, November 11th at 9:00 a.m.   Come join us as we remember and honor all of our veterans. We have been gracious to have food for the breakfast sponsored by The Sterling House of Youngstown, Shepherd of the Valley and Continuum Home Care.

MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! Our November Celebration will be held on Wednesday, November 12th at 9:00 a.m. in the Coffee Bar! Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday in that particular month. The Center will provide a special treat. Feel free to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate with us!

4th WARD BLOCK WATCH MEETING: Wednesday, November 12th at 6:00 p.m. Bring a friend or neighbor.

AGING IN PLACE SEMINAR: Monday, November 17th at 9:00 a.m. in the coffee bar with the Trumbull County Planning Commission.

BINGO with Triad Hospice Tuesday, November 18th at 9:00 a.m. in the Coffee Bar.

HEARING TESTS with Centers for Hearing Care will be held here at the center on Wednesday, Nov. 19th at 9:00 a.m.   They will also be providing a light breakfast.

HOLIDAY CRAFT HOUR: Thursday, November 20th at 9:00 a.m. in the Coffee Bar. Come have some holiday fun with Sterling House and Harbor Hospice as they come together to provided a holiday wreath craft and some goodies. They will be bringing the craft supplies as well as some hot chocolate and donuts to enjoy. Please sign up with the Jen or Jackie to make sure enough supplies is provided.

THANKSGIVING POTLUCK LUNCHEON: Will be held on Tuesday, November 25th at 12:00 p.m. in the Gym! Bring your favorite dish to share and the Center will provide the turkey! Please sign up at the front desk if you plan on attending and what you are going to bring to share. The center would also like to send a big THANK YOU to Leora Greathouse for volunteering to cook the turkey, we greatly appreciate her kindness.

MORNING STRETCH EXERCISES: will be held in the parlor on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. Come stretch out those sore muscles with our interns and staff and learn some great new stretch exercises to help keep you moving. No sign up required just show up at the time of class.

The Wii GAMING SYSTEM and AIR HOCKEY OR PING PONG are set up in the parlor for members to use. The gaming hours are during the Center’s hours of operation, Please feel free to ask the staff for assistance.

ADULT BASKETBALL OR CORN HOLE:  Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the gym. Minimum of 2 players and must be members of the center.

WALK THE STEPS OR IN THE GYM: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Minimum of two (2) walkers. Sign in at the front desk.

KNIT AND CROCHET CLASS: Mondays 10:15-Noon. Bring your own yarn, needles, etc. Class is free and open to our members.

COMPUTER CAFE: Mondays: 8:30-4:00, Tuesdays: 8:30-5:00, Wednesdays: 8:30-5:00, Thursdays: 8:30-5:00, and Fridays: 8:30-4:00.

NUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday through Friday at 2:30 p.m. You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. Suggested donation: $1.50/meal. For Seniors 60+ and/or their spouses. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center. (No Meals November 4th, November 11th, or November 27th and 28th).
