HOLIDAY CRAFT HOUR: Thursday, November 20th at 9:00 a.m. in the Coffee Bar. Come have some holiday fun with Sterling House and Harbor Hospice as they come together to provided a holiday wreath craft and some goodies. They will be bringing the craft supplies as well as some hot chocolate and donuts to enjoy. Please sign up with the Jen or Jackie to make sure enough supplies is provided.

THANKSGIVING POTLUCK LUNCHEON: Will be held on Tuesday, November 25th at 12:00 p.m. in the Gym! Bring your favorite dish to share and the Center will provide the turkey! Please sign up at the front desk if you plan on attending and what you are going to bring to share. The center would also like to send a big THANK YOU to Leora Greathouse for volunteering to cook the turkey, we greatly appreciate her kindness.

MOVIES IN THE PARLOR: Every Thursday at 9:00 a.m. in the parlor. Come enjoy and relax with a movie and have some popcorn together with the staff. See Jen or Jackie with any movie suggestions. November Movies are listed below:

VETERANS BENEFITS LUNCH & LEARN PROGRAM: Monday, December 1st from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in the Gym. Reservations are required! The topic presentation covers benefits for Veterans, spouses and widows. We will have guest speakers Moses Murphy, and Anthony Nagle of the Veterans Service Commission, Sterling House: BrookDale Senior Living of Youngstown will be providing a complimentary lunch.

OSHIIP MEDICARE ENROLLMENT FAIR: Monday, December 2nd BY APPOINTMENT. OSHIIP representatives will be at the center to assist in Medicare Enrollment. APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED, Call Christine at the center for more information.

MATTER OF BALANCE PROGRAM: The Matter of Balance Class is an award winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. This FREE program consist of Eight Sessions and the sessions will be held right here at the center. ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN. The Sessions will be held Tuesday and Thursdays beginning Tuesday, December 2nd at 11:00 a.m. Please sign up at the front desk to attend.

PRE-FUNERAL PLANNING SEMINAR: Monday, December 8th at 9:00 a.m. in the Coffee Bar
CRAFT CLASS: Tuesday, December 9th at 9:00 a.m. look for flyers for this month’s Holiday Craft.

MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: Our December Celebration will be held on Wednesday, December 10th at 9:00 a.m. in the Coffee Bar! Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday in that particular month. The Center will provide a special treat. Feel free to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate with us!

DUTCH HAUS TRIP: Wednesday, December 10th: Luncheon and Theatre – cost is $37.00/person. Just Give ‘Em the News: An original, delightfully askew, musical take on the first Christmas. Jeff Raught and Ted Swartz weave original songs, inspired piano playing, (Jeff, not Ted) and comedic theater around a new look at familiar Christmas stories.   We will be leaving the Center at 10:45 a.m. We will be car- pooling.

4th WARD BLOCKWATCH HOLIDAY PARTY: Wednesday, December 10th at 6:00 p.m. Bring a friend or neighbor and a dish to share.

MORNING STRETCH EXERCISES: will be held in the parlor on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. Come stretch out those sore muscles with our staff and learn some great new stretch exercises to help keep you moving. No sign up required just show up at the time of class.

The Wii GAMING SYSTEM and AIR HOCKEY OR PING PONG are set up in the parlor for members to use. The gaming hours are during the Center’s hours of operation, Please feel free to ask the staff for assistance.

ADULT BASKETBALL OR CORN HOLE:  Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the gym. Minimum of 2 players and must be members of the center.

WALK THE STEPS OR IN THE GYM: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Minimum of two (2) walkers. Sign in at the front desk.

KNIT & CROCHET CLASS: Mondays, 10:15 a.m. to noon. Bring your own yarn, needles, etc. Class is free and open to our members.

COMPUTER CAFÉ: Mondays: 8:30-4:00, Tuesdays: 8:30-5:00, Wednesdays 8:30-5:00, Thursdays 8:30-5:00, and Fridays 8:30-4:00.

NUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday through Friday at 2:30 p.m.You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. Suggested donation: $1.50/meal. For Seniors 60+ and/or their spouses. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center.
