MATTER OF BALANCE PROGRAM: The Matter of Balance Class is an award winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. This FREE program consist of Eight Sessions and the sessions will be held right here at the center. ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN. The Sessions will be held Wednesdays and Fridays beginning April 5th at 1:00 p.m. Please sign up at the front desk to attend.
ADULT COLORING CONTEST: Why do kids get to have all the fun? So we decided to create our own ADULT coloring contest! Coloring sheets can be picked up beginning April 3rd. Entries need to be returned by Monday, April 28th. Voting will take place at our Senior Citizen Day Luncheon on Thursday May 11th. Winners announced same day. Tap in to your fun and creative side for your chance to win a prize! MUST BE A MEMBER TO ENTER. See Christine, Jen for details.
AROMATHERAPY SEMINAR: Monday, April 3rd at 9:15 a.m. in the coffee bar. Roberta Cordova from Rite Aid will be talking about Aromatherapies and their benefits.
MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! Tuesday, April 4th at 9:15 a.m. in the Coffee Bar! Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday in that particular month. The Center will provide a special treat. Feel free to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate with us!
BACK TO THE 50’S CAR CRUISE POTLUCK LUNCHEON: Monday, April 10th from NOON- 2:00 p.m. in the Gym. Feel free to come dressed in your favorite 50’s attire and bring a dish to share as we have a roaring bash! Please Sign-up.
YSU VIBE PROGRAM SEMINAR: Wednesday, April 12th at 9:15 a.m. in the Coffee Bar. A member of the YSU gerontology department will be here to share information about the Valley Initiative to promote Balance among the Elderly.
NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK CELEBRATION: Monday, April 24th at 9:15 a.m. in the Coffee Bar. We would like to recognize and thank the wonderful volunteers for the services they provide. The Center will be providing a sweet treat.
KEEPING US SAFE DRIVING PROGRAM AND LUNCH: Tuesday, April 25th at 11:00 a.m. in the Gym. The Ohio State Highway Patrol will be presenting. Keeping Us Safe is a national organization that works with older drivers and their families with the issue of age-related diminishing driving skills. The one-hour long presentation, free to the public, will offer suggestions on how an older driver can extend his or her safe driving career. Free lunch will be provided at the conclusion of the program. If you are planning to attend, please call the center to sign up by Thursday, April 20th. (330) 545-6596.

MOVIES IN THE PARLOR: Every Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the parlor. Come enjoy and relax with a movie and have some popcorn together with the staff. See Jen with any movie suggestions. NUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday– Friday at 2:30 p.m. You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. Suggested donation is $2.00/meal for seniors 60+ and/or their spouses. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center.
