MEDICARE-SMALL OSHIIP: Tuesday, October, 4th at 9:30 a.m. The Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program will be here for an informational update on Medicare. Please attend to learn the basics of Medicare and about changes for 2017. MEDICARE OPEN ENROLLMENT BEGINS OCTOBER 15TH AND ENDS DECEMBER 7TH. Contact our social worker Christine at 330-545-6596 to make an appointment during open enrollment. OSHIIP will be here again on November 15th by appointment only to also assist people during open enrollment. Please sign up at the front desk.

 

apple 3rd Annual Apple Cook Off is Friday, October 7th at 9:00 a.m. in the coffee bar. Participate by making your favorite apple dish and entering it in our tasting contest or just feel free to come have some fall fun with us here at the center. Wii gamesThe Wii GAMING SYSTEM and AIR HOCKEY OR PING PONG are set up in the parlor for members to use. The gaming hours are during the Center’s hours of operation. Please ask the staff for assistance.

 

BASKETBALL-SMALLAdult Basketball or Corn Hole:  Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the gym. Minimum of 2 players and must be members of the center.

 

TREADMILL-SMALLWalk The Steps OR IN THE GYM: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Minimum of two (2) walkers. Sign in at the front desk.

 

CROCHET-SMALLKNIT and CROCHET CLASS: Mondays from 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bring your own yarn, needles, etc. Class is free and open to our members.

 

COMPUTER CAFE - SMALLCOMPUTER CAFE: Mondays and Fridays:  8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. & Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays:  8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

COMPUTORS-SMALLONE ON ONE COMPUTER TUTORING: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with Jen, Christine or Jackie. Other times are available by appointment.

 HEAP PROGRAM: See Jen, Jackie, or Christine for information regarding qualifications for the HEAP Program/Winter Crisis.

 OHIO BENEFIT BANK ASSISTANCE: Call the Center to set up an appointment with Jen for assistance.

NUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday– Friday at 2:30 p.m.  You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. Program is for Seniors 60+ and/or their spouses. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center. No meals on October 10th due to Columbus Day.
