The Girard Multi-Generational Fundraiser is HERE!! Registration is 11a.m.-1:00 p.m. The Show is from 1-3:00 p.m. Trophies will be presented at 3:30 p.m. Show Registration is $8.00.  We have DJ Crazy Dave and Dash Plaques for the First 75 Registered. It is a Judged Show. Trophies include Best in Show, People’s Choice, Mayor’s Choice and more! SPECIAL RAFFLE: Flat Screen TV and a $250 Visa Gift Card. There will be a Chinese Auction, 50/50 raffle, Door Prizes, T-Shirts, and Food/Beverage & More! Event is FREE to spectators! Join us for a GREAT time!!!!!!

COOKIE DECORATING WITH WINDSOR HOUSE: Tuesday, June 4th at 9:15 a.m. in the dining hall. Deanna from Windsor House will be joining us to decorate cookies.

 MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! Tuesday June 18th at 9:15 a.m. in the coffee bar! Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday in that particular month. The Center will provide a special treat. Feel free to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate with us!

 Understanding and Responding to Dementia-related Behavior: Thursday, June 20th at 9:30 a.m. The Alzheimer’s Association will be presenting a seminar on how behaviors can present real challenges for caregivers to manage. Learn ways to decode behavioral messages, identify common triggers, and strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer’s disease.Please RSVP by calling the following number 1-800-272-3900.

  MOVIES IN THE PARLOR: Every Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the parlor. Come enjoy and relax with a movie and have some popcorn together with the staff. See Jen with any movie suggestions.

 FITNESS ROOM HOURS: Monday & Friday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

MIND GAMES: Daily at 9:00 a.m. join in the fun and exercise your brain at the same time.

 Tai Chi: Cost $5.00: Fridays from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

STRETCH EXERCISES: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. A light snack is provided.

The Wii GAMING SYSTEM and AIR HOCKEY OR PING PONG are set up in the parlor for members to use. The gaming hours are during the Center’s hours of operation. Please ask the staff for assistance.

KNIT and CROCHET CLASS: Mondays at 10:15 a.m. Bring your own yarn, needles, etc. Class is free and open to our members.

 COMPUTER CAFE: Mondays and Fridays: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. & Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

NUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday– Friday at 2:30 p.m.  You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. While there is no fee for meals, client donations are accepted toward the cost of meals.  The contributions are an important part of the funding for the program. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center.
