  OSCAR BALLOT CONTEST**From February 7th-March 2nd, be sure to enter our OSCAR BALLOT CONTEST and cast your vote for who you think the winners will be this year. All ballots must be turned in by Friday, March 2nd.  You must be a member of the Girard Multi-Generational Center to enter the contest. The Academy Awards will be televised on Sunday, March 4th. We will announce the winner with the most correct predictions during coffee bar on Monday, March 5th.

 NATIONAL WEAR RED DAY: Friday, February 2nd. Please join us in wearing red on this day to honor and support the awareness of heart disease.

 CRAFT CLASS: Tuesday, February 6th 9:30 a.m. in the Coffee Bar. SIGN-UPS REQUIRED- PLEASE CONTACT Jen.

 MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! Tuesday, February 6th at 9:15 a.m. in the Coffee Bar! Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday in that particular month. The Center will provide a special treat. Feel free to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate with us!

MARDI GRAS “FAT TUESDAY” POTLUCK BREAKFAST: Tuesday, February 13th at 9:00 a.m. in the coffee bar. Please feel free to come dressed festive and bring your favorite breakfast dish to share to celebrate the Mardi Gras Season with us.

 4th WARD BLOCK WATCH MEETING: Wednesday, February 14th at 5:00 p.m. Feel free to bring a friend or neighbor.

BINGO WITH WINDSOR HOUSE: Wednesday, February 28th at 9:15 a.m. in the coffee bar. Deanna from Windsor House will be here to entertain us with some bingo fun!

 DAILY & WEEKLY PROGRAMS

COFFEE BAR: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

 FITNESS ROOM HOURS: Monday & Friday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

MIND GAMES: Daily at 9:00 a.m. Join in the fun and exercise your brain at the same time. No Games on Tuesdays.

Tai Chi: Cost $5.00: Fridays from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

 YOGA, CHAIR YOGA, PILATES: Call Roselyn Ragozine for more information and to check class times and days, (330) 719-4296.

STRETCH EXERCISES: Held in the Gym on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:15 p.m. A light snack is provided. STRETCHING WILL BE AT 10 A.M. ON Wed., FEB. 28th.

The Wii GAMING SYSTEM and AIR HOCKEY OR PING PONG are set up in the parlor for members to use. The gaming hours are during the Center’s hours of operation. Please ask the staff for assistance.

KNIT and CROCHET CLASS: Mondays from 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bring your own yarn, needles, etc. Class is free and open to our members.

 COMPUTER CAFE: Mondays and Fridays:  8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. & Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays:  8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 ONE ON ONE COMPUTER TUTORING: Please contact Jen or Christine to make an appointment.

 MEDICARE: Contact our social worker, Christine at 330-545-6596 to make an appointment.

 HEAP PROGRAM: See Jen or Christine for information regarding qualifications for the HEAP/Winter Crisis Program.

 OHIO BENEFIT BANK ASSISTANCE: Call the Center to set up an appointment with Jen.

NUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday– Friday at 2:30 p.m.  You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. Suggested donation is $2.00/meal for seniors 60+ and/or their spouses. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center. No Meals February 19th.*
