 AARP TAX HELP WILL BE HERE through April 12th on TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS BY APPOINTMENTS ONLY! WALK-INS MAYBE SERVED BASED ON AVALIABLE TIMES AND VOLUNTEERS.PLEASE CALL THE CENTER (330) 545-6596 FOR MORE DETAILS/ITEMS NEEDED AND TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.WHEN COMING FOR APPOINTMENT PLEASE SIGN IN AT FRONT DESK.

 

 ADULT COLORING CONTEST: Why do kids get to have all the fun? So we decided to create our own ADULT coloring contest! Coloring sheets can be picked up beginning April 2nd. Entries need to be returned by Monday, April 30th. Voting will take place at our Senior Citizen Day Luncheon on Thursday May 10th. Winners announced same day. Tap in to your fun and creative side for your chance to win a prize! MUST BE A MEMBER TO ENTER. See Christine, Jen for details.

 

 BACK TO THE 50’S CAR CRUISE POTLUCK LUNCHEON: Monday, April 9th from NOON- 2:00 p.m. in the Gym. Feel free to come dressed in your favorite 50’s attire and bring a dish to share as we have a roaring bash! Please Sign-up.

 4th WARD BLOCK WATCH MEETING: Wednesday, April 11th at 5:00 p.m. Feel free to bring a friend or neighbor.

 MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! Tuesday, April 17th at 9:15 a.m. in the Coffee Bar! Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday in that particular month. The Center will provide a special treat. Feel free to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate with us!

 CRAFT CLASS: Tuesday, April 17th at 9:30 a.m. in the Coffee Bar. See Jen to sign up.

  NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK CELEBRATION: Wednesday, April 18th at 9:15 a.m. in the Coffee Bar. We would like to recognize and thank the wonderful volunteers for the services they provide. The Center will be providing a sweet treat

  GRIEF 101 SEMINAR WITH HOSPICE: Friday April 20th at 9:15 a.m. in the coffee bar. Kim Calhoun from Hospice will be here to talk about the Grief opportunities available.

  BINGO WITH WINDSOR HOUSE: Tuesday, April 24th at 9:15 a.m. in the dining hall. Deanna from Windsor House will be entertaining us with some bingo fun and prizes!

 MOTORCYCLE SAFETY AWARENESS SEMINAR: Wednesday, April 25th at 9:15 a.m. in the coffee bar. Our very own, Leora Greathouse, will remind us of important safety tips for this spring’s motorcycle season.

MOVIES IN THE PARLOR: Every Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the parlor. Come enjoy and relax with a movie and have some popcorn together with the staff. See Jen with any movie suggestions.

DAILY & WEEKLY PROGRAMS

COFFEE BAR: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

 FITNESS ROOM HOURS: Monday & Friday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

MIND GAMES: Daily at 9:00 a.m. Join in the fun and exercise your brain at the same time. No Games on Tuesdays.

Tai Chi: Cost $5.00: Fridays from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

 YOGA, CHAIR YOGA, PILATES: Call Roselyn Ragozine for more information and to check class times and days, (330) 719-4296.

STRETCH EXERCISES: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:15 p.m. A light snack is provided.

The Wii GAMING SYSTEM and AIR HOCKEY OR PING PONG are set up in the parlor for members to use. The gaming hours are during the Center’s hours of operation. Please ask the staff for assistance.

KNIT and CROCHET CLASS: Mondays from 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bring your own yarn, needles, etc. Class is free and open to our members.

 COMPUTER CAFE: Mondays and Fridays:  8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. & Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays:  8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 ONE ON ONE COMPUTER TUTORING: Please contact Jen or Christine to make an appointment.

 MEDICARE: Contact our social worker, Christine at 330-545-6596 to make an appointment.

 HEAP PROGRAM: See Jen or Christine for information regarding qualifications for the HEAP.

 OHIO BENEFIT BANK ASSISTANCE: Call the Center to set up an appointment with Jen.

NUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday– Friday at 2:30 p.m. You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. Suggested donation is $2.00/meal for seniors 60+ and/or their spouses. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center.
