The Girard Multi-Generational Fundraiser is HERE!! Registration is 11-1:00 p.m. The Show is from 1-3:00 p.m. Trophies will be presented at 3:30 p.m. Show Registration is $8.00.  We have DJ Crazy Dave and Dash Plaques for the First 75 Registered. It is a Judged Show. Trophies include Best in Show, People’s Choice, Mayor’s Choice and more! SPECIAL RAFFLE: 55″Flat Screen LED TV and a $250 Visa Gift Card. There will be a Chinese Auction, 50/50 raffle, Door Prizes, T-Shirts, Food/Beverage & More! Event is FREE to spectators! Join us for a GREAT time!!!!!!

  WALKING THE BLOCK IS BACK! Join us for some fresh air and sunshine as we walk outside (weather permitting). Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. or immediately following the conclusion of already scheduled programs.

  HILLSIDE REHABILITATION SEMINAR: Tuesday June 5th at 9:15. Len Dulay will be here to talk about the service provided to the community.

 MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! Tuesday June 12th at 9:15 a.m. in the coffee bar! Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday in that particular month. The Center will provide a special treat. Feel free to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate with us!

 4th WARD BLOCK WATCH MEETING: Wednesday, June 13th at 5:00 p.m. Bring a friend/neighbor


BINGO WITH WINDSOR HOUSE: Tuesday, June 19th at 9:15 a.m. in the dining hall. Deanna from Windsor House will be entertaining us with some bingo fun and prizes!


JUMP INTO SUMMER POTLUCK BREAKFAST: Wednesday, June, 20th at 9:00 A.M. in the coffee bar. Bring your favorite dish to share as celebrate the beginning of summer FINALLY!! Please sign up if you are planning to attend.


GIRARD FREE LIBRARY SEMINAR: Friday June 22nd in the Distance learning lab. Michelle from the library will be coming to teach us about apply for a library card and learning how to use the Cleve net book rental over the computer and Ipads.

  MOVIES IN THE PARLOR: Every Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the parlor. Come enjoy and relax with a movie and have some popcorn together with the staff. See Jen with any movie suggestions.

 FITNESS ROOM HOURS: Monday & Friday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

MIND GAMES: Daily at 9:00 a.m. Join in the fun and exercise your brain at the same time. No Games on Tuesdays.


Tai Chi: Cost $5.00: Fridays from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

STRETCH EXERCISES: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:15 p.m. A light snack is provided. Stretch Class will be at 10:00 on June 4th, June 18th and June 20th . and 10:15 on Friday June 22nd.

The Wii GAMING SYSTEM and AIR HOCKEY OR PING PONG are set up in the parlor for members to use. The gaming hours are during the Center’s hours of operation. Please ask the staff for assistance.

KNIT and CROCHET CLASS: Mondays from 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bring your own yarn, needles, etc. Class is free and open to our members.

 COMPUTER CAFE: Mondays and Fridays:  8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. & Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays:  8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 ONE ON ONE COMPUTER TUTORING: Please contact Jen or Christine to make an appointment.

 MEDICARE: Contact our social worker, Christine at 330-545-6596 to make an appointment.

HEAP PROGRAM: See Jen or Christine for information regarding qualifications for the HEAP.

OHIO BENEFIT BANK ASSISTANCE: Call the Center to set up an appointment with Jen.

NUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday– Friday at 2:30 p.m. You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. Suggested donation is $2.00/meal for seniors 60+ and/or their spouses. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center.
