MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: Wednesday, February 5th at 9:15 a.m. Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday in that particular month. The Center will provide a special treat. Feel free to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate with us!

NATIONAL WEAR RED DAY: Friday, February 7th .Please join us in wearing red on this day to honor and support the awareness of heart disease.

COOKIE DECORATING WITH WINDSOR HOUSE: Tuesday, February 11th at 9:15 a.m. in the coffee bar. Deanna from Windsor House will bring some yummy cookies to decorate!

BALANCE SEMINAR WITH SHEPHERD OF THE VALLEY: Wednesday, February 12th at 9:30 a.m. in the Dining Hall.  Lauren Flauto will be joining us to talk about the “Steady Steps” Program that Shepherd is offering to educate the Importance of Fall Prevention.  

4th WARD BLOCKWATCH MEETING: Wednesday, February 12th at 5:00 p.m. Bring a friend or neighbor.

PARKINSON’S SUPPORT GROUP: Wednesday, February 12th from 1:30-3:00 p.m. in the parlor. Doug Doyle from Direction Home will be holding a support group for care givers and their loved ones on dealing with Parkinson’s. The group will meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month.

CRAFT CLASS: Tuesday, February 18th at 9:30 a.m. in the coffee bar. SIGN-UPS REQUIRED- PLEASE CONTACT Jen.

DIRECTION HOME CAREGIVER MONTHLY SUPPORT GROUP: Friday, February 21st at 1:30p.m. in the Parlor.

MARDI GRAS POTLUCK LUNCHEON: Tuesday, February 25th at Noon in the gym. Please feel free to come dressed festive and bring your favorite dish to share as we celebrate Mardi Gras!

PAULETTE’S RETIREMENT BREAKFAST: Friday, February 28th at 9:00 a.m. Join us as we celebrate Paulette’s retirement and wish her the best on an exciting new life chapter!

COFFEE BAR: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

FITNESS ROOM HOURS: Monday & Friday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday- 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

MIND GAMES: Daily at 9:00 a.m. join in the fun and exercise your brain at the same time.

Walk The Steps OR IN THE GYM: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Minimum of two (2) walkers. Sign in at the front desk. Subjected to change based on scheduled center events.

Tai Chi: Cost $5.00: Fridays fromNoon to 1:00 p.m.

YOGA / PILATES: Yoga classes are Mondays at 9 a.m. and Tues. & Thurs. at 10:30 a.m. Pilates classes are held Mondays at 10 a.m. and Tues. & Thurs. at 10:30 a.m.

STRETCH EXERCISES: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30 a.m.A light snack is provided. Stretching will be held at 10:00 on February 12th and February 28th.

KNIT and CROCHET CLASS: Mondays at 10:15 a.m. Bring your own yarn, needles, etc. Class is free and open to our members.

COMPUTER CAFE: Mondays and Fridays: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. & Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

AFL-CIO COMMUNITY SERVICES: Meetings will be the 4th Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. This month’s meeting will be on Tuesday February 25th at 7:00 p.m.

NUTRITION MEAL PROGRAM/Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs: Monday– Friday at 2:30 p.m.  You must call reservation in at least 2 days in advance at (330) 675-2486. While there is no fee for meals, client donations are accepted toward the cost of meals.  The contributions are an important part of the funding for the program. Menu calendars are available at the Multi-Generational Center. No Meals on February 17th.
