MATTER OF BALANCE CLASS: A MATTER OF BALANCE is an evidence-based program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. MATERIALS & SNACKS WILL BE PROVIDED.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AND SEATING IS LIMITED. Classes are twice a week with a total of 8 classes. Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

CLASS DATES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Jan. 9th–Jan. 11thJan. 16th–Jan. 18th__Jan. 23rd–Jan. 25th__Jan. 30th—Feb. 1st

PICKLEBALL FUN: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-3:30 in the gym. Pickleball is a game where players use special paddles and a wiffle ball. It is something of a mix between tennis, racquetball, and ping pong. Join us for some pickleball fun!

BOARD GAMES: Thursdays in the coffee bar from 10:00-12:00 p.m.

NEW YEAR’S POTLUCK BREAKFAST: Wednesday, January 4th from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the coffee bar. Join us for our first potluck of 2023 and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Bring your favorite dish to share. Please sign up. 330-545-6596.

MONTHLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION:  Thursday, January 5th from 9:00-9:30 a.m. in the Coffee Bar! Each month we will be celebrating everyone’s birthday. The Center will provide a special treat. Celebrate with us!

CHAIR MASSAGES WITH RUTH: Friday, January 13th and Friday, January 27th from 10:00-12:00 p.m. Come let the hands of Ruth work out those aches and pains. Please choose one day or the other. MUST SIGN UP!

CHEESE PLEASE POTLUCK LUNCHEON: Monday, January 16th from 12:00-1:30 p.m.

Everybody loves cheese! Let’s get creative and bring your favorite CHEESE inspired dish to share! Please sign up if you plan on attending.

BINGO WITH WINDSOR HOUSE: Tuesday, January 17th from 9:15-10:00 a.m. in the coffee bar. Deanna from Windsor House will be here to entertain us with some bingo fun! Come and play for a chance to win some of your favorites from a farmers’ market.

HEALTH SCREENINGS WITH MERCY HEALTH: Wednesday, January 18th from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose screenings will be available.

TRIVIA FUN & ICE CREAM BAR: Friday, January 20th from 10:00-12:00 p.m. in the coffee bar. Have fun testing your knowledge on different trivia topics with teammates. We will also have an ice cream bar available with all the toppings.

MOVIE DAY: Monday, January 23rd from 10:00-12:00 p.m. in the parlor. Join us for a movie & popcorn!

GREETING CARD CLASS: Tuesday, January 24th from 1:00-3:30 p.m. Come get crafty and let Lucy teach you how to make the perfect greeting card. Please Sign up by Friday, January 20th.

COOKIE DECORATING: Wednesday, January 25th from 9:00-9:30 a.m. in the coffee bar.

CRAFT CLASS: Monday, January 30th from 9:00-9:30 a.m. in the coffee bar. Come and check out this month’s craft!

BINGO WITH STAFF: Tuesday, January 31st from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the coffee bar.

WALKING THE GYM: Monday through Friday from 8:00-11:00 a.m.

OPEN GYM: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 11:00-4:00 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00-1:30 p.m.

STRETCH EXERCISES: Monday-Friday at 9:30-10:00 a.m.

COMPUTER CAFE: Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
