MEDICARE PART D 2025 UPDATES WITH ONESTA INSURANCE: Wednesday, October 2nd from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Learn about new 2025 provisions from the IRA (Inflation Reduction Act) and what that means for you and your Medicare Part D prescription coverage in the coming year.
COFFEE & DONUTS WITH EXPAND HEALTH AT HOME: Friday, October 4th from 9:30-10:00 a.m. Enjoy some donuts and learn about how this locally, family-owned business can help you stay independent at home.
10th ANNUAL APPLE COOK OFF: Monday, October 7th from 9:15- 10:00 a.m. in the coffee bar. Participate by making your favorite apple dish and entering it in our tasting contest. Come have some fall fun with us here at the center. Sign-ups required for entrants, as well as attendees. See staff for more information.
BINGO WITH WINDSOR HOUSE: Tuesday, October 8th from 9:15-9:45 a.m. in the coffee bar. Deanna from Windsor House will be here to entertain us with some bingo fun! Come and play for a chance to win some of your favorite farmers market items.
VACCINE CLINIC BY APPOINTMENT: Wednesday, October 9th from 9:30-11:30 p.m. The clinic will be held in the gym. Flu shots will be available. COVID boosters may also be available. Bring all your insurance cards with you such as Medicare card, Medicaid card, Medicare advantage plan card, secondary insurance card, group health insurance card, Marketplace insurance card, etc. For more information and to make your appointment call 330-545-6596.

FAIR HOUSING SEMINAR: Tuesday, October 15th from 9:00-9:30 a.m. Legal Aid will be educating us on the basics of fair housing under federal and state law.
FALL PREVENTION WITH MERCY HEALTH: Wednesday, October 16th from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Nurse Stephanie Oakes will be talking with us about the importance of fall prevention.

CHOCOLATE BINGO: Monday, October 21st from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the coffee bar. Everybody loves chocolate! Join us for some bingo fun.
BOSCOV’S FRIENDS HELPING FRIENDS EVENT: Tuesday, October 22nd. A $5.00 Donation gives you a 25% discount shopping pass for October 22nd. 100% of the proceeds go to the center. Please see a staff member if interested in purchasing a shopping pass. We will be leaving the center at 10:00 a.m. to go to Boscov’s until 11:45 a.m. We will be going to lunch at O’Charley’s at noon. Lunch is self-paid. Must sign up.
CRAFTS WITH DEVOTED HEALTH: Wednesday, October 23rd from 10-11:30 a.m. Debbie will be showing us how to create a beautiful picture that resembles stained glass. Must sign up.
OSHIIP COUNSELING: Thursday, October 24th from 9:30-3:00 pm by appointment only. The Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program will be providing one-on-one counseling for Medicare open enrollment on October 24th by appointment only. Please sign up at the front desk or call 330-545-6596 to make an appointment. Bring your Medicare card and list of prescriptions to your scheduled appointment.
TRIVIA FUN & ICE CREAM BAR: Friday, October 25th from 10:00-12:00 p.m. in the coffee bar. Have fun testing your knowledge on different trivia topics with teammates. We will also have an ice cream bar available with all the toppings.
